Linden honey crystallizes late, forming mostly large and irregualar crystals. The color ranges from light amber to amber when it is liquid; when it is crystallized, from ivory to beige. The smell has a medium-strong intensity, as well as the taste, that is very persitent.

Linden honey has a sweet and minty taste, it is excellent spread on a slice of bread for breakfast or for an healthy and delicious snack combined with some cheeses such as Castelmagno. It is ideal for sweetening your herbal teas.
