Bansigu, the Ligurian dialect word for “swing”, is a red, Mediterranean-style wine, made from carefully selected Granaccia grapes and other varieties, some of which are lesser-known, but since always grown in our vineyards.
A lively wine, with a juicy and bouncy mouthful of flavour.

Area: west Liguria

Vineyards: Granaccia at least 70 %, Rossese, Barbera, Cinsault and other varieties in a smaller proportion

Vinification: skin-contact maceration for six days. Fermentation and ageing exclusively in steel, where the malolactic fermentation is carried out. Available from the first spring subsequent to harvest

Description: slightly concentrated cherry red with ruby highlights

Perfume: Intense and intriguing nose with notes of rosehips, strawberry tree, plum and raspberry

Taste: In the mouth, lightness and taste tension, fruity finish with acid and saline trail

Matching: Cold meats and sausages, Roasted or grilled red meat, Mature cheeses, Legumes, First courses with meat sauce

Service temperature: 14-16 °C
